Garnet Stones

Famous for cleansing chakras, the garnet can also revitalize the human body.  It purifies and balances energy. Garnets inspire love and devotion among its wearers. They can also sharpen the perception of one’s self and others’.  And as for physical healing properties, the garnet is wonderful for enabling body regeneration. It also stimulates metabolism and boosts the immune system to avoid diseases.

It has various healing properties for the human body and spirit. But do you know this famous stone’s origins? The word ‘garnet’ comes from the Middle English word ‘gernet’ which means ‘dark red.’ The term derives from the Latin word ‘granatus,’ which is a reference to the pomegranate plant. They come in various colors; namely red, orange, brown, and pink — among others. But in the ancient world, red garnets were most commonly used.

Above all, garnets utilize creative energy. It helps its wearer work lovingly. It is a stone that harbors strong and intense feelings.
